Percy E. Norris

Norris, Percy E.  Automobile dealer, born Numa, Iowa, March 27, 1907, son of Jacob Norris and Anna Raines; educated Numa; Centerville High School 1925.  Married Willa Mae Thompson, Sept 6, 1936, Des Moines; son John David.  1925-32 employed by brother as bookkeeper and office man in Chrysler Garage, Centerville; 1932-33, traveled in eastern US; 1933-35 owner and operator garage DeSoto & Plymouth auto agency, Centerville; 1935 also dealer in Packards sales and service; Appanoose Co. Auto Dlrs Assn; Natnl Auto Dlrs Assn; Assn of Commerce, 1934 member of aviation board; Believers Church; Republican; hobbies - clean sports, travel and home movies.  Grandfather Jacob Norris early settler in Bellair Twp before Civil War; aunt still lives on homestead; office 411 N. Main; residence 324 E. Prairie, Centerville.
